Hawthorne Station, CET’s main transit hub in Bend, will fully reopen to the public on Wednesday, September 15, with COVID-19 safety protocols in place. Interior renovations to the station will be unveiled during a City of Bend Welcoming Week event that will take place on September 15 from 3-6 pm at Hawthorne Station, located at 334 NE Hawthorne Ave. During the event, CET will open our doors to showcase the interior renovations, offer trip planning services in an outdoor setting, and provide opportunities for attendees to make recommendations for future transit services and facilities. A CET bus will be on display for participants to learn how to safely board and exit the bus, signal for stop locations, and load a bike on the front of the bus. Tote bags, LED safety lights, sunglasses, hand sanitizer, route maps, and refreshments will be provided for attendees and face coverings are required. We hope to see you there!
