Central Oregon Area
Commission on Transportation
The Central Oregon Area Commission on Transportation (COACT) was formed in 1998 to serve as a forum for the discussion, understanding, and coordination of transportation issues affecting the Central Oregon region. COACT membership includes representatives from each Central Oregon City and County government, ODOT, the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, the private sector and various regional organizations.
COACT reviews the process for determining transportation infrastructure needs, capital investments, and project priorities in the Central Oregon Region. Other COACT functions include advocating for Central Oregon transportation issues to neighboring regions, area legislators and other interested organizations, and advising the Oregon Transportation Commission on state and regional policies affecting Central Oregon’s transportation system.
COACT meets on the second Thursday of alternating months. The COACT Executive Committee meets on the second Thursday in months without a COACT meeting.

2008 COACT Meeting Schedule
The Central Oregon Area Commission (COACT) on Transportation meets on the second Thursday of alternating months. The COACT Executive Committee meets on the second Thursday in months without a COACT meeting. Unless otherwise notified, all COACT and Executive Committee meetings will be held at the COIC administrative office in Redmond (2363 SW Glacier Place).
